Creamy Beef and Potato Pot Pie

Ingredients
- 1 unbaked pie crust
- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 medium sized potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 onion
- 2 TBSP flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp basil
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 to 1 1/2 cups cream
Instructions
- Peel and cube your potatoes. Set aside.
- In a large pan, cook your ground beef, salt, pepper, basil, onion powder, and a little cooking oil of your choice. Scoop into a bowl and set aside.
- In the same pan, cook together your onion and potatoes.
- Add back in your cooked ground beef and stir to warm back up. Add in your flour and mix well.
- Slowly pour in your cream while mixing. The cream will thicken as it heats up and is stirred in with your beef and potatoes, so gradually add it in until you have your desired creaminess.
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees farenheit.
- Pour your beef and potatoes into an unbaked pie crust. Put a pie crust on top of your pie.
- Bake at 400 degrees for about 20 minutes, until your crust is golden brown.
- Allow to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
